Dedham Insurance Agency Celebrates Flag Day

It’s been six months since C&S joined forces with Dedham insurance agency, Francis M. Walley. In that time we’ve been pretty busy orienting the team, aligning our three offices, and meeting some wonderful new clients. In April we were lucky enough to be a part of the James Joyce Ramble at Endicott Estate. And on Flag Day, we enjoyed another exciting first: participating in the legendary Dedham Flag Day Parade!

For those who’ve never been, the parade is a wonderful throwback to the parades we all remember as kids, with enthusiastic crowds lining the streets, marching bands, baton twirlers, bagpipes, horseback riders, ladder trucks, floats… Next year, we hear, the fireworks display is coming back! Needless to say, plans for a bigger and better C&S/Walley parade float are already in the works.

At C&S, we’re incredibly proud to be a part of the Walley family tradition (their Dedham insurance agency opened its doors nearly 100 years ago, operating out of Frank Walley’s grandfather’s house on Oak Street), as well as Dedham’s town-wide traditions. Thanks to our local ownership and our friends at Dedham Square Circle,we look forward to many more years of holiday events and town involvement.
