Commercial Lines Account Manager
C&S Insurance Agency is a growing, relationship-driven independent agency with offices across Massachusetts. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager to join our team and play a key role in supporting our clients.
Position Overview:
The Commercial Lines Account Manager will manage an established book of middle market accounts (over $50K in premium) and serve as a trusted partner to both clients and producers. This role is essential to maintaining strong client relationships, ensuring retention, and supporting continued growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of commercial insurance accounts, including property, liability, workers’ compensation, and auto
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, delivering responsive and proactive service • Partner closely with producers to assess client needs and recommend appropriate coverage strategies
- Handle policy renewals from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and timeliness • Respond to client inquiries, resolve issues, and provide ongoing account support • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, carriers, and internal teams
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in commercial lines insurance, with a understanding of various coverage types and industry regulations.
- AMS360 experience preferred
- Excellent customer service skills, with a passion for delivering a positive client experience.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Relevant insurance licenses and certifications are a plus.
