At C&S Insurance, we’re proud supporters of the close-knit community we’ve been rooted in since 1959. It is our core belief as a company that being involved in the community makes it a better place for our neighbors to work and live. This is why we give back as much as we can, whether it’s through volunteer hours, monetary donations, food drives, etc. Here are just some of the organizations we are involved in:

Community Highlights:

St. Jude New England Golf Classic
One of our favorite company traditions is participating in the St. Jude’s New England Classic, held annually at Wannamoisett Country Club. Several years ago a valued client invited us to get involved with the St. Jude’s program. Since then, we’ve learned so much about the incredible work this organization is doing. We’ve gotten to meet some families that benefit from St. Jude’s vital services, and we’ve been overwhelmed by the impact a local event can make on people’s lives. This year the Classic raised a record-breaking $266,950 for the patients and families at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Southern New England Heart Walk:

Each year, the American Heart Association hosts an annual walk to help fight heart disease and stroke in local communities. For the past years, C&S has asked clients, partners, and friends to help contribute to this cause. Our most recent efforts helped raise a total of $2,800 for AHA, earning us a spot among the Top 10 participating companies in Southern New England.

 

Mansfield Touch-a-Truck 2017

Mansfield has been hosting Touch-a-Truck for five years now, a fun family-friendly event filled with police cars, ambulances, firetrucks – you name it. This past year the event raised more than $6,000 for local nonprofits, like Mansfield Police and Mansfield Fire, the Mansfield Emergency Management Agency (MEMA), the Our Daily Bread food pantry, the West Side Benevolent Society, and several others. We’re so proud to support a great cause like this!

 

Mansfield Youth Soccer Columbus Cup

C&S has a blast helping sponsor the Columbus Day Cup Tournament for Mansfield Youth Soccer. The last tournament involved a raffle for Pats tickets, glitter braids, and lots of friendly competition in the rain!

Our Daily Bread

The crew here at C&S teamed up with HarborOne Bank to collect on behalf of Our Daily Bread, a local all-volunteer run food pantry that distributes food to over 400 Mansfield families per year.
