With over a decade of experience in the insurance industry, Jay Kemp, our newest team member at C&S Insurance, brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as Director of Risk Placement. Jay’s journey in the field has seen him excel in various capacities, specializing in the strategic placement of insurance across a broad spectrum of risks. His work has included securing comprehensive coverage for expansive real estate portfolios to managing the intricate insurance needs of large commercial construction projects.

Jay’s proficiency in navigating the complexities of the insurance market is further shown by his achievement of the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) designation, a testament to his commitment to professional development and excellence in service. Currently, he is working toward the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation, showing his dedication to advancing his knowledge and expertise in the industry.

Outside of his professional life, Jay is invested in his family, cherishing the time he spends with his two young sons, aged 6 and 4. As a resident of Massachusetts’ South Shore, he enjoys engaging in activities such as golf, boating, and exploring new dining experiences. Vacationing on the Cape or along the Gulf Coast of Florida are among his favorite getaways. Jay is also a passionate supporter of all Boston sports teams.
