Jennifer Burke McCarthy is the fourth-generation insurance agent from the Burke family.  Since 1915, Burke Insurance Agency has provided outstanding service to their clients which include generations of families. Jennifer served as owner and principal at Burke Insurance Agency for 20 years before their merger with C & S in 2023. Her love of educating others on how to protect themselves and their assets and explaining coverages are some of the reasons Jennifer enjoys being an insurance agent. She’s honest and sincere and takes pride in building trust with her clients.

Jennifer is a graduate of the University of Chicago where she earned her BA in Psychology.  She was a member of the UChicago women’s basketball team and Women’s Athletic Association. Upon returning to Boston after her undergraduate years, she went on to attend a dual degree Master’s program at Boston University earning both her MSW and MPH. She maintains her LCSW in the state of Massachusetts and her Property and Casualty License, as well.

During her free time, Jennifer loves spending time with family and friends. Most days, she can be found spending time with her husband, Michael, their three children, Cailyn, Brendan, and Brady & their black lab, Jake. She enjoys attending her kids’ many sporting events which include soccer, hockey, lacrosse & golf matches. The McCarthy family enjoys vacationing in Falmouth in the summer and they enjoy taking road trips up north throughout the year.  Jennifer is looking forward to this next chapter with C & S and she is looking forward to building off the success of both agencies and working with the talented management team and continuing to maintain and build on the positive reputation that both agencies have had in the insurance marketplace.
