Matt Bouffard has been an insurance professional for 23 years as of November 18, 2023. After graduating from Stonehill College in 2002, he moved to Massachusetts from Shelton, Connecticut (home of the only factory producing the greatest and most affordable summertime recreational product ever: the Wiffle Ball) and never looked back.
Matt began his career in claims and spent 15 years with Arbella, where he transitioned to the company’s captive in-house agency, AllGuard. He later worked with Arbella’s first independent agency acquisition, Harrington Insurance, which evolved into what is now Arbella’s independent agency, Bearingstar.
In 2016, Matt entered the independent agency world, the same year he became a father to twin daughters. Along with his wife, they are the three most important people in his life. He and his family are avid Disney fans and visit a park in Florida or California whenever possible.
Outside of work, Matt is a lifelong comic book collector (and proud that it’s finally cool to admit it), a movie marathon enthusiast, and a fan of crunchy snacks…especially when paired with a good cup of coffee and a cozy blanket.
