Natalia Lourenco has been working in the insurance industry for nearly four decades. As a personal lines account manager, she enjoys meeting new people and learning more about their lives, providing personalized advice on their home, auto, and umbrella insurance needs. Natalia believes that a big part of her job is education: helping clients understand different coverage terms and review their policies in detail. She also sees herself as an advocate–a role that takes on great importance during the claims process.

In addition to holding the CPIW (Certified Professional Insurance Woman) and AIS (Associate in Insurance Services) designations, Natalia is a Notary Public. She has been a member of the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Women/Bristol Chapter since 1981, and was awarded the group’s “Member of the Year” honor in 2014. She is currently working on the “Seven Steps” series of coursework, offered by the Massachusetts Association of Insurance agents, to enhance her knowledge of personal lines insurance.

Outside of work, Natalia plays an active role in the community. As an immigrant from the Azores, she is deeply invested in preserving Portuguese culture, here in Massachusetts and beyond. To this end, she acts as director of the Casa dos Acores, New England Chapter.

Natalia Lourenco holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Massachusetts. She is just a few courses shy of earning her MBA. When she’s not busy working or studying, she can be found spending time with family–including her husband, three daughters, and a granddaughter, Madilyn. Natalia is the proud dog mom of a beagle, Charlie Brown; occasionally dabbles in painting; and loves all kinds of music–Elvis is her favorite. Additionally, Natalia embarked on an extraordinary journey walking the Camino de Santiago, traveling from Porto, Portugal, to Santiago, Spain. Over 12 days, she covered an impressive 165 miles, connecting with the beauty of this historic pilgrimage. Inspired by her experience and the many trails across Europe, she encourages others to explore the Camino. She also recommends the film The Way, which beautifully captures the essence of this transformative journey.
