2019 Mansfield Touch a Truck
Well, we lucked out again. Incredible weather and loads of four-wheeled fun… A HUGE thank you to all the folks–thousands of people–who came out to support our Mansfield Police and Mansfield Fire Departments. The Mansfield Women of Today (MWOT) organized another amazing event, but we think Touch a Truck 2019 will go down as our biggest success to date.
C&S Insurance sponsored a baby farm animal petting zoo and a sand art craft table. Check out the photos! MWOT organized a Frozen sing-along, face painting, temporary tattoos, an appearance by Spiderman, awesome food trucks, ice cream, dancing, and so much more. The official tally has not yet been released, but we know we came close to meeting our $10,000 fundraising goal. If you missed out this year, mark your calendar now for 2020! (Mansfield Touch a Truck is usually the third Saturday in September.) We’re planning to bring back all the favorites!
Mansfield Youth Soccer Columbus Cup Tournament
Calling all soccer fans! Is your youth soccer player competing in the 2019 MYS Columbus Cup Tournament? If you’ve ever driven down Plymouth Street on Columbus Day weekend and wondered about the throngs of cars…that’s the Columbus Cup! For the past few years, C&S Insurance has contributed as the event’s lead sponsor and (our favorite part) as the leading contributor of off-field fun. We bring soccer darts, glitter braids, fastest kick contests, “guess the number of soccer balls” contests, and a whole bunch of giveaways that moms and dads actually want to keep. If you’re a youth soccer family, we hope we’ll see you at Mansfield Columbus Cup 2019. More info to follow!!
Dedham Trunk or Treat
Halloween might just be our team’s favorite holiday (not including Dedham Flag Day)… just one reason why we’re all in for Trunk or Treat in Dedham. This year the fun happens on Saturday, October 26, from 3:00 to 5:00 in the parking lot at Dedham Town Hall. The rain will be Sunday, October 27. Organized by the wonderful people at Dedham Square Circle, Trunk or Treat gives kids an opportunity to trick-or-treat in a safe, well-lit area, with loads of activities (besides eating candy) to keep them entertained. Together with our Dedham insurance office (you might know it as F.M. Walley Insurance), we’re planning to give away mini pumpkins that kids can decorate at our trunk/booth. Just look for the “farmers” and the C&S sign. Hope to see you there in your best costume!!
