Frank Walley is the third generation insurance agent from the Walley family, following in the footsteps of his dad, Frank Walley, Jr., and grandfather, Francis Walley, at the Walley Agency in Dedham. He was principal of Walley Insurance for almost 30 years before their merger with C&S in 2019.
Frank is a graduate of Boston College with both BS and MSF degrees. He taught graduate and undergraduate Investments for 13 years at BC as an adjunct faculty member, and is a loyal football and hockey season ticket holder. Frank has attended every NCAA Frozen Four hockey tournament but one since 1998, cheering for most Hockey East schools and is known for legendary football tailgates.
Frank has traveled widely and is looking for an excuse to go to Asia to finish visiting all 7 continents, though any excuse to go to Scotland or Iceland is appreciated! Favorite destinations include Antarctica, Tanzania, New Zealand, and Canada’s Northwest Passage. He has hiked all forty-eight 4000 foot peaks of the NH White Mountains, along with Mt Whitney in CA (14,498’), Mt Elbert in CO (14,440’), and Tempest Mountain in MT (12,469’). Frostbite turned Frank around on Mt Rainier at about 12,000’ and torrential rains cut short a trek up Ben Nevis in Scotland.
Frank sings Tenor with the Dedham Choral Society and in addition to concerts in greater Boston, has participated in concerts with the Society in Prague, Vienna, Budapest, Rome (St Peter’s!), Riga (Latvia), Tallinn (Estonia), and St Petersburg (Russia).
